The Lynchburg College golf team placed sixth after rounds Sunday and Monday at the 12-team Virginia State Invitational, hosted by Randolph-Macon College at Mattaponi Springs Golf Club.
The Lynchburg College golf team finished play Tuesday at the Hampden-Sydney Invitational tournament, with the Hornets finished ninth out of 12 teams in the two-day event. The tourney was held at The Manor Resort and Golf Course in Farmville, VA.
The Lynchburg College golf team took on a field of 16 teams over the past two days, finishing with a team score of 619, which ranked LC second among Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) schools.
The Lynchburg College golf team posted a day one score of 311 at the Bridgewater College Invite.
