Washington Defeats LC12-9 in NCAA Second Round
The Washington College Shoremen defeated Lynchburg College 12-9 in the second round of the NCAA Division III Men’s Lacrosse Tournament Sunday.
Hornets Defeat Neumann 2-1 in Eight
Senior shortstop Dara Sandifer (Monroe, VA/Holy Cross) had four base-hits Saturday, including the game-winning double in the eighth inning as the Lynchburg College softball team advanced to the Championship Game of the Methodist University Regional with a 2-1 win over Neumann College (PA).

Junior pitcher Barbie Miles (Kinsale, VA/Washington & Lee) threw a complete-game four-hit shutout Thursday to lift the Lynchburg College softball team to a 4-0 win over LaGrange College (GA) in the first day of play at the Division III NCAA Regional at Methodist University.
