Hornet Softball Defeats Ursinus 2-0

The Lynchburg College softball team defeated Ursinus College (PA) 2-0 Monday afternoon in the championship game of the NCAA Division III Regional, hosted by Methodist University. The Hornets will compete in their first NCAA World Series in program history, with a chance at the Division III Title.

Ursinus Defeats LC Softball 3-1 – Forces Final Game

Ursinus College (PA) went ahead early and held on to defeat the Lynchburg College softball team 3-1 Monday in the finals of the NCAA Division III Regionals, hosted by Methodist University. Each team now has one-loss in the double-elimination format, forcing one final game at 2 p.m. today for the right to advance to the World Series next weekend in Salem, VA.

LC Baseball Season Continues With At-Large Bid Into NCAA South Regional
