LC Volleyball Defeats VWC in Four in ODAC Tourney
Sophomore Elena Kritter (Culpeper, VA/Rappahannock) delivered 13 kills and 15 digs Friday evening as the third-seeded Lynchburg College volleyball team defeated #6 Virginia Wesleyan College 25-22, 25-13, 10-25, 27-25 in the first round of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Championship Tournament.

Stephen Legg Posts a Goal and Assist to Lead LC to a 2-1 Comeback Victory over Hampden-Sydney
Senior midfielder Stephen Legg (Newport News, VA/Denbigh Baptist) posted a goal and an assist to lead LC to a 2-1 second-half comeback victory over Hampden-Sydney College in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) semi-finals. Lynchburg, seeded #3 in the tournament, will face the winner of #1 Virginia Wesleyan vs. #4 Roanoke on Saturday for the Championship. If VWC wins, LC will travel to Virginia Beach, VA; if Roanoke wins, LC will host the title game.
W&L Defeats LC women’s Soccer 2-1
Forward Allie Espina scored the game-winning goal with under three minutes left to play Wednesday afternoon as the second-seeded Washington & Lee University women's soccer team defeated #3 Lynchburg College 2-1 in the semifinals of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Championship Tournament.
Lynchburg Equestrian Wins UVa Show
The Lynchburg College equestrian team had an outstanding show in Charlottesville this weekend as they were the high point team at the University of Virginia. The Hornets defeated several ODAC foes in Hollins, Sweet Briar, Bridgewater, Washington & Lee, and Randolph.

The Lynchburg College Hornet field hockey team scored three second-half goals in coming from behind to defeat No. 4 seeded Randolph-Macon College 3-1 Tuesday in the semi-finals of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Tournament.
LC Riders Compete at Bridgewater Show
A total of twelve members of the Lynchburg College equestrian team competed Saturday as they tied for third place overall in the Bridgewater Show. LC tied JMU with 31 points each, while Hollins University won the event with 35 points.

Signey Milks (Gloucester, VA/Gloucester), a captain and senior midfielder on the Lynchburg field hockey team, was selected by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) as a Senior All-Star.
Men’s Lacrosse Announces Captains for 2010 Season
The men’s lacrosse team chose three senior leaders, Aaron Khouri (Memphis, TN/MUS), Ethan Farrell (Nantucket, MA/Nantucket), and Ryan Butler (Belle Meade, NJ/Montgomery), as captains for the spring 2010 season. These three players have demonstrated an unyielding commitment to the team, as well as strong leadership skills, throughout their careers at LC.

Randolph Bows Out of Men’s Soccer ODAC Tournament to Lynchburg College 6-0
Randolph College, the six seed in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) men’s soccer tournament, bowed out of the tournament field to Lynchburg College by a score of 6-0 Saturday night from Shellenberger Field on the campus of Lynchburg College. LC will travel to Hampden-Sydney College on Wednesday to face second seeded Hampden-Sydney College in the ODAC Semi-Finals.
