Athletic Training

Be part of the action! As an athletic trainer, you'll provide health care to physically active people. With this major (BS degree), you'll get real-world experience paired with classroom theory in the prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of injuries and illnesses.

In addition, you'll provide health care to LC athletic teams and practice your skills at a variety of area clinics and colleges.

Professor Pat Aronson
Dr. Pat Aronson started the Athletic Training program at LC. In 2012, she became the first woman to be inducted into the Virginia Athletic Trainers' Association (VATA) Hall of Fame.
