Be part of the action! As an athletic trainer, you'll provide health care to physically active people. With this major (BS degree), you'll get real-world experience paired with classroom theory in the prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of injuries and illnesses.
In addition, you'll provide health care to LC athletic teams and practice your skills at a variety of area clinics and colleges.
What Will I Study?
Everything you need to know to become an entry-level certified athletic trainer is included in our major. You'll learn basic skills along with assessment techniques for body injuries, therapeutic exercise and modalities for injuries, as well as safety and management of health emergencies. Clinical education and internships are essential components of the program.
