Distinguished Alumni Award Nomination Form

The Distinguished Alumni Award, presented since 1987, honors alumni who have distinguished themselves through outstanding contributions to one or more areas of society.

Nomination Deadline

Nominations for 2013 awards will be accepted through February 1, 2013.

Nomination Criteria

Eligibility requirements: A candidate must have earned a Lynchburg College degree or, in special cases, have attended the college at least 2 years and have graduated from another accredited college or university.

Criteria for selection: A candidate must have made outstanding contributions to one or more areas of society, but not limited to, professional, academic, and personal achievements, as well as service to the college.

Nominations: Accepted from all sources

Other: This honor may be posthumously bestowed. The number of awards to be presented within a given year will be left to the discretion of the executive committee of the Alumni Association.
