Lynchburg College senior’s work garners international audience
Lynchburg Senior Chad Hobson presented his work with Dr. Eric Goff at the 2015 International Sports Engineering Conference in the Netherlands. Chad and Dr. Goff’s work has garnered international attention.
LC claims spot in National Ethics Bowl
Armed with ethical arguments, more than a hundred pages of research, and a strong spirit of teamwork, the Lynchburg College ethics bowl team fought its way to a national tournament for the first time this year.
To be considered for the program, you must have:
- an overall high school GPA of 3.5
- a minimum SAT score of 1300
- exemplary academic records that show excellence in traditional in-class learning as well as strong evidence of intellectual curiosity, co-curricular interests, and leadership potential
Exceptions are occasionally made. A GPA higher than 3.5 or an SAT higher than 1200 may compensate for a slightly lower score in the other area.
