The internship, or experiential learning, is an integral component of the sport management major because it gives you the opportunity to apply knowledge gained in the classroom to real-life situations. An internship also enhances your personal portfolio and increases your professional contacts, ultimately boosting your job marketability.
Sport Management majors are required to complete 12 semester hours in internship, the maximum that may be applied toward the degree.
