Dr. Susan Braud earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice in Educational Leadership from American Sentinel University in 2019. She received her Master of Science in Nursing from Liberty University in 2012 and earned her CCRN-K certification in 2006. She has spent 22 years working in critical care nursing, with a specialty in open heart recovery patients.
She taught nursing clinicals for sophomore-, junior-, and senior-level students for 12 years before becoming a full-time faculty member at the University of Lynchburg. Since then, she has taught critical care nursing, pharmacology, and health assessment labs. She enjoys working with students and guiding them to become successful, caring nurses.
