University of Lynchburg offers a range of German courses to meet the General Education language requirement.
Introductory German courses:
- GRMN 101 – Elementary German I (offered in the fall)
- GRMN 102 – Elementary German II (offered in the spring)
- GRMN 201 – Intermediate German (offered in the fall)
Placement Test
Before signing up for German beyond the 101 level, you must take a placement test that is available on Moodle after contacting your advisor or the Academic Advising office. You will then be placed into GRMN 101, 102 or 201. You can also “place out” (meaning you would already have fulfilled the language requirement) if your results meet the highest scores.
