Exhibition offers visitors a unique journey through a palace once forbidden to the general public, and will provide a glimpse into this hidden world through diverse objects from the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties.
Featured works include large portraits, costumes, furniture, court paintings, religious sculptures, and fine decorative arts such as bronzes, lacquerware, and jade. A number of interior designs modeled on the inner quarters of the Palace will provide a close-up and tangible experience to visitors. 3-D virtual technology and architectural features will offer an immersive experience, as if passing through the Forbidden City during the height of its glory and splendor.

The 12th Fine Arts & Flowers
Exhibit will Feature floral interpretations of masterpieces from the permanent collection, presented by members of The Garden Club of Virginia, the Virginia Federation of Garden Clubs, and Garden Clubs of Virginia.
This four-day fundraising exhibition combines fine art with floral mastery for a dazzling exhibition of beauty and creativity.
