Lynchburg College offers reservation services for guests with disabilities or mobility limitations during Commencement weekend.
Seating and Parking for Commencement
Guests must walk a short distance to be seated. Accessible seating will be available for guests with disabilities or mobility limitations and should be requested in advance to assure space available. Families may reserve up to 10 seats together in this section. Accessible restroom facilities are available nearby.
Parking for guests close to this seating area is limited. Vehicles with appropriate designation (handicapped license plates, placard or Lynchburg College Commencement Parking Pass) will be directed to a drop-off zone near reserved seating and may park in this area as space is available, or will be directed to alternative parking areas. Access to this drop off area will be closed promptly at 9:45.
Alternative seating in an air conditioned accessible facility is available with live streaming of Commencement.
American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation is available at Baccalaureate and Commencement.
