The School of Business and Economics at Lynchburg College seeks to fill a tenure-track opening in Marketing at the Assistant/Associate Professor level for the 2010-2011 academic year. Candidates will be expected to teach marketing principles, direct marketing (with an emphasis in data-driven marketing), and international marketing. Interest in environmental issues and ethical dimensions of marketing would be considered a plus. The successful applicant will be willing to strive for teaching excellence and to experiment with new pedagogies, capable of working effectively with both undergraduate and MBA students, and comfortable collaborating with colleagues from diverse disciplines in support of the institution’s liberal arts mission. A Ph.D. in marketing is required. The selected candidate must successfully pass a background check.
