Lynchburg College is accepting applications for a graduate assistant in Men’s Track and Field with experience in the throwing events, pole vault, and multi-events. This position is available January 17, 2011 and runs through May 30, 2011.
The successful candidate will assist the head coach in all aspects of the program, including assisting daily coaching and planning practices, meet preparation and recruiting-qualified student athletes to the program. The candidate will also be responsible for recruiting. Candidate must have a commitment to upholding the academic and athletic mission of the College. Other job related duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics. Bachelor’s degree required. Applicants must be accepted into the graduate program at Lynchburg College. All candidates must have strong interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate with all members of the College community. The compensation and benefits package includes tuition waiver and a stipend. Selected candidate must successfully pass a background check.
